We manufacture premium custom millwork for large clients so our engineers will put out a cut “ticket” which is basically cutting instructions for every part in that ticket which will be assembled later. I want to be able to have all the parts in a ticket (done from excel) added to a program where employees can update statuses of each part as it comes into their area. Bonus if we are able to track time spent in each area.
I’ve toyed with support ticket programs as the purposes are similar but they are far too extensive and complicated for our purposes. We can want to have a company wide database where parts are viewable and status-specific before being completed and Archived.
