Everywhere I’ve worked regressions outside of production have been seen as a fact of life and the cost of moving fast. We just had the CEO lay into us for having a few minor regressions (resulting from extremely poorly written legacy code) in dev. I was dumbfounded.
Am I being gaslighted or have I been living in an alternate universe where regressions in dev aren’t that big of a deal?
